p256dh), and an authentication secret (auth).calculator, quote, contact) so we can measure which entry points produce the most engaged subscribers.Marketing communications, quote and booking status updates, and service notifications (e.g. surveyor arrival reminders). We do not sell or share your subscription with any third party.
You can unsubscribe at any time. The simplest way is via your browser's notification settings (Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Notifications; Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Permissions → Notifications). On macOS Safari, use System Settings → Notifications → Safari. When you unsubscribe we mark the subscription as inactive immediately and stop sending future pushes to that endpoint. The subscription row is retained (with unsubscribedAt stamped) for audit and audience-history purposes.
Active subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or until the push service reports the endpoint as expired (HTTP 410 Gone). Inactive subscription rows are kept for 24 months for the purpose of audience reporting and fraud prevention, then deleted.
Subscription rows are stored in our PostgreSQL database hosted on Fly.io (London region, lhr). The push service operators (Apple, Google, Mozilla) receive the endpoint URL at the moment you grant permission; their own privacy policies apply to that data.
No cookies for push: Web Push uses the W3C Push API and service workers, not cookies. Browser notification permissions are managed in your OS, not via our cookie banner.
